Ruth Kelly is an artist/photographer based in Indianapolis. Her work is on exhibit at the Full Circle Nine Gallery, part of the Factory Arts Center in Indy.

Artist Statement-Photography is a unique means of expression. An artist’s photographs reflect the intersection of the artist’s vision and the physical world. I am drawn to this paradox of engagement with the world and distance that happens when I pick up my camera. When I began taking pictures, I was primarily interested in portraiture and landscape photography. More recently, I have been creating collages. My work brings a different vision to the raw material of our world to create something new. Collaging is an extension of this process. This dynamic is the core of my work.
